Of course, all bathroom projects are not created equal! However, a good general timeline for a bathroom expected to be demo’d, framed and put back together with all new finishes is about 6 weeks.

Most likely, yes. We take care of that detail for you- we are fully licensed, as are all of our specialty trade contractors. Minor cosmetic repairs, replacements and updates sometimes don’t trigger the need for a permit. However, for anything that involves exposing an exterior wall cavity or framing modifications, involves plumbing, electrical or HVAC would create the need for a permit.

Nope! In almost every situation, all of the fixtures are removed on day one. In the final few days of a project, the room is mostly functional. Shower glass and accessory installation tend to be the last remaining items, so the toilet and sink can be used on those days, but you will need to have another bathroom to use for the duration of your project.

Kitchen- we can help you to set-up a temporary kitchen space. Typically the frig and microwave get set-up as a “temp kitchen station” in the dining room or a spot in the basement.

We can meet you at your need for design. We can estimate and build off designs you’ve worked with others to create. We can also work with you to develop the design from scratch. Our in- house, design coordinator may assist with material and color selections. We collaborate with the full spectrum of design experience from licensed residential architects, to interior designers, to seasoned remodelers, to home owners that only know they just don’t like what they currently have!

There are a select few materials we use repeatedly and they all tend to be unseen by the end of the project. Things like the type of insulation, tile backer board and wall board. All of the finish materials? Those are always specific to your project and design! We can point you towards trusted vendors and showrooms to make selections, or our in-house design coordinator can assist with decisions.

All of our work carries a 1 year workmanship guarantee and all of the products we use carry their own manufacturer’s warranty. In short, we warrant that we use the correct materials for your situation and install them correctly.

Yes, Platinum can help with a big or small bathroom remodel! We originally started as a handyman services company and still hold on to those roots. We have a $200 minimum charge for small hourly charge projects and our largest remodeling project was over a million dollars. With our large team and broad range of trusted trade partners that we have vetted and worked with over our 20+ years in business, we can help with nearly every residential remodeling project.
